History

The radio hobby started at the age of 12 when I got my first 22 channel/500mw CB radio. In the years that followed I have used quite a few from all kinds of brands on 11 meters. DXing on USB provided great contacts with, among European, several stations in the US. Shortly afterwards i also became active on 3 meters with my own stereo transmitter (DX) and as a DJ mixer at several (free) radio stations in Zoetermeer, The Hague, Rotterdam and Nijmegen.

Since 2024 I have picked up the radio amateur hobby again.
